Jeff ClackJeff joined our firm as a Senior Legal Executive in personal injury litigation in July, 2007, bringing with him many years of experience, both as a Plaintiff practitioner and in senior positions with WorkCover insurance agents. This gives him a unique perspective and skills with which to assist his clients, particularly with WorkCover claims and litigation. He has, in the past, practised in the areas of workers compensation and personal injury litigation with Byrne, Jones & Torney (as it was previously known) in Ballarat, as well as large Melbourne law firms, Slater & Gordon and Purves Clarke Richards. Since the mid-1990’s, up until he joined Saines & Partners, Jeff was Regional Claims Manager with CGU Workers Compensation based in Ballarat and then Geelong and then Branch and Claims Manager with QBE Workers Compensation in Geelong. He has spent most of his life in the Ballarat area, apart from a few years in the Geelong area and currently lives in Buninyong. Jeff is a devoted family man and one eyed Collingwood supporter (is there any other variety?). He also has strong ties with the local community and has been involved in baseball and cricket most of his life. He is proud to be a life member of the Ballarat–Redan Cricket Club and Ballarat City Baseball Club and in the past has been heavily involved in both clubs at committee level. He has also been involved with other sporting associations, including the Ballarat Baseball Association and Ballarat Cricket Association. Jeff brings with him to this position not only many years of valuable experience in personal injury litigation, but a strong dedication and work ethic to obtain the best results for his clients.
