Katalina TothKat made the move to the Ballarat region during the last leg of her law degree in 2009. She is born and bred in Melbourne but chose to enjoy the good life in rural Victoria. She graduated law with first class honours at Victoria University in Melbourne, where she combined legal research work at the Bar with full time study. During her studies, Kat actively engaged in mooting competitions both domestically and internationally. She was a semi-finalist in an international commercial arbitration moot in Vienna, where she was up against 205 universities from around the globe. She enjoys keeping up to date with environmental law, food law, international trade law, European Union law and human rights law in her spare time. In her previous career, Kat was a Cadet Environmental Health Officer for the State Government and will soon attain her Bachelor Degree in Public and Environmental Health. She hopes to participate in improving the health and wellbeing of the Victorian community, especially the rural community. Kat's passion lies in personal injuries, in particular, public liability and is committed to providing legal assistance to those who need it most.
